A.

JOINT PUBLIC HEARING: City Council, Santa Clara Stadium Authority, Sports and Open Space Authority, Housing Authority and Successor Agency of the former Redevelopment Agency for the City of Santa Clara Annual Budget for Fiscal Year 2012-13.
Request for the following actions:

1.      Adoption of a City Council Resolution establishing Fiscal Year 2012-13 Appropriations Limit of $306,762,357 as computed by the Finance Department.

2.      Approval of the Fiscal Year 2012-13 Proposed City of Santa Clara Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Budget of $52,598,475 and the Proposed Sports and Open Space Authority Capital Improvement Project (CIP) Budget of $75,000, plus adjustments as noted in the Budget Errata Memo.

3.      Approval of the City of Santa Clara Proposed Fiscal Year 2012-13 total budget of $577,327,728, including the Operating Budget of $524,729,253 and CIP Budget of $52,598,475, plus adjustments as noted in the Budget Errata Memo.

4.      Approval of the Successor Agency to the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Clara Proposed Fiscal Year 2012-13 total budget of $29,558,000, plus adjustments as noted in the Budget Errata Memo.

5.      Approval of the Sports and Open Space Authority Proposed Fiscal Year 2012-13 total budget of $4,492,346.

6.      Approval of the Housing Authority Proposed Fiscal Year 2012-13 total budget of $0; expenditures will be covered by prior year appropriations in the Housing Program Funds.

7.      Adoption of a Housing Authority Resolution determining that the planning and administrative expenses provided in the budget to be made from the Low and Moderate Income Housing Fund are necessary for the production, improvement or preservation of low and moderate income housing.

8.      Approval of the Stadium Authority Proposed Fiscal Year 2012-13 total budget of $1,581,080.

9.      Approval of the City of Santa Clara Five Year Financial Plan 2013-14 through 2017-18.

10. Approval of the disposition of $18,516.07 from the Give A Little...Help A Lot community donation campaign.

11. Approval for the use of $93,300 for police activities and programs from the Asset Seizure Trust Fund as requested by the Chief of Police.

 

 

 

 

12. Adoption of a City Council Resolution adopting the Fiscal Year 2012-13 Municipal Fee Schedule, which imposes new fees, amends existing fees and retains unchanged fees for various City departments.

This item is reserved for persons to address the Housing Authority on any matter not on the agenda that is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the City. The law does not permit Housing Authority action on, or extended discussion of, any item not on the agenda except under special circumstances. The Housing Authority, or staff, may briefly respond to statements made or questions posed, and the Housing Authority may request staff to report back at a subsequent meeting. Although not required, please submit to the Housing Authority Secretary your name and subject matter on forms available by the door in the Council Chambers.
