MINUTES OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SANTA CLARA FOR MEETING
HELD ON TUESDAY EVENING, APRIL 27, 2010

 

 

†††† The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Santa Clara met at 6:00 pm, on the above mentioned date, for a Closed Session in the Council Conference Room for a Conference with Real Property Negotiator pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8; Property: APN:104-43-051; APN:104-43-052; APN:104-43-030; APN:104-42-014; and APN:104-42-019; Negotiating Party(ies): Cedar Fair and the San Francisco 49ers; Agency Negotiator: Jennifer Sparacino, Executive Director (or her designee); Under Negotiation: Purchase/ Sale/ Exchange/Lease of Real Property (provisions, price and terms of payment).

 

†††† The Agency then met at 10:00 pm for the regular scheduled meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers.

 

†††† Present: Agency Members Dominic J. Caserta, Will Kennedy, Jamie L. Matthews, Jamie McLeod and Kevin Moore and Chairperson Patricia M. Mahan.

 

†††† Absent: Agency Member Joe Kornder (excused).

 

 

 

†††† MOTION was made by Matthews, seconded and unanimously carried (Kornder absent), that the Agency excuse Agency Member Kornder from attendance at this eveningís meeting.

 

 

 

†††† MOTION was made by Matthews, seconded and unanimously carried with McLeod abstaining (not present at the meeting) (Kornder absent), that the Minutes for the meeting of March 30, 2010 be adopted as written.

 

 

 

†††† MOTION was made by Matthews, seconded and unanimously carried (Kornder absent), that the Agency accept the work performed by Top Grade Construction, Inc. for the San Tomas Aquino/Saratoga Creek Trail - Reach 4 Project and authorize the recordation of the Notice of Completion with the County Recorder (CE 07-08-02).

 

 

 

†††† Under Public Presentations, Stephen Hazel addressed the Agency with comments of concern regarding the proposed San Francisco 49ers stadium.


 

 

†††† The Interim Agency General Counsel stated that earlier in the evening, the Agency met in Closed Session in the Council Conference Room for a Conference with Real Property Negotiator pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 regarding Property: APN 104-43-051, APN 104-43-052, APN 104-43-030, APN 104-42-014 and APN 104-42-019; Negotiating Party(ies): Cedar Fair and the San Francisco 49ers; Agency Negotiator: Jennifer Sparacino, Executive Director (or her designee); Under Negotiation: Purchase/ Sale/ Exchange/Lease of Real Property (provisions, price and terms of payment) and that there was no reportable action.

 

 

 

†††† MOTION was made by Matthews, seconded and unanimously carried (Kornder absent), that, per the Interim Agency General Counselís memo (04/23/10), the Agency set Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at 6:00 pm for a Closed Session in the Council Conference Room for a Conference with Real Property Negotiator pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.8 regarding Property: APN 104-43-051, APN 104-43-052, APN 104-43-030, APN 104-42-014 and APN 104-42-019; Negotiating Party(ies): Cedar Fair and the San Francisco 49ers; Agency Negotiator: Jennifer Sparacino, Executive Director (or her designee); Under Negotiation: Purchase/Sale/Exchange/Lease of Real Property (provisions, price and terms of payment).

 

 

†††† MOTION was made by Matthews, seconded and unanimously carried (Kornder absent), that there being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:05 pm to Tuesday evening, May 11, 2010 at 6:00 pm for a Closed Session in the Council Conference Room and to 7:00 pm for the regular scheduled meeting in the City Hall Council Chambers.
