APPEAL OF HEARING DECISIONS OF THE CITY COUNCIL MUST BE MADE TO THE SUPERIOR COURT WITHIN 90 CALENDAR DAYS OF FINAL ACTION.  BECAUSE OF THE AGENDA PROVISION FOR RECONSIDERATION, FINAL ACTION IS DEEMED TO OCCUR AT THE END OF THE NEXT REGULAR MEETING pursuant to City Council Policy (P&P 042). B.        Approval of an Employment Agreement with Helene Leichter, effective April 24, 2007, which sets the salary and conditions of employment pursuant to the recommendation of the Council Officers and Elected Full-Time Employees Performance/Salary Review Committee.

 

C.        Oath of Office Ceremony for Helene Leichter, City Attorney.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5.         REPORTS FOR COUNCIL ACTION:

 

A.         Joint Council and Redevelopment Agency "Committee of the Whole":  San Francisco 49ers' Update on the Stadium Feasibility Study, Report on Game Day Transportation Issues, and a Construction and Financing Proposal for a Stadium in Santa Clara.

* Staff recommendation to refer to City Manager/Executive Director to return at intervals to update the Council/Agency on progress to date and receive policy direction.

1.         Informational Memo:  Additional Sample Economic and Fiscal Impact Studies Provided by the San Francisco 49ers, Prepared for Central Houston, Inc. and the Las Vegas Events Center Task Force.

2.         Informational Memo:  Correspondence Received Regarding the Proposed Football Stadium February 3, 2007 through April 19, 2007.

 

B.        Request for a consensus Council position on the preferred location of the BART parking structure on the north side of Brokaw Road for the upcoming BART to Silicon Valley Policy Advisory Board meeting on April 25, 2007.

This portion of the meeting is reserved for persons desiring to address the Council on any matter not on the agenda.  The law does not permit Council action on, or extended discussion of, any item not on the agenda except under special circumstances.  The Council, or its staff, may briefly respond to statements made or questions posed and may request the City Manager to report back at a subsequent meeting.  Please submit to the City Clerk your name and subject matter on forms available by the door in the Council Chambers.
